WELCOME TO THE JOURNEYWe want to make a lasting difference in your life, in our community, and in the world. How do we go about that? By leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. That's the driving purpose behind everything we do.In Your LifeWe want to help you get to know God better and enable you to become who He's created you to be. Along the way, we hope to work with you to make the world a better place.To build a strong relationship with God and others, it’s important to engage in a community of like-minded people. Subcommunities are one way for this to happen.For Your FamilyWe believe that strong families start with a solid foundation. We partner with parents to help raise up the next generation to have a strong relationship with Jesus. There are opportunities throughout the week for children and teens to grow closer to each other and to God. We also have great online resources for you to use at home.In Our Community & in The WorldWe're serving a global community...in person and online, individually and in groups, inside our church and around the world. We serve in many different ways, but there's one common thread: people who are passionate about demonstrating God's love to others. OUR CORE VALUESActs 2:42-47 Spiritual FormationWe believe that the Community of Faith is to be devoted to the Word of God, both written and living, to the spiritual connection of believers through the power of the Spirit, to involvement in genuine, sincere and heart-felt worship, and to continual prayer and communion with Christ.Emphasize Divine EnthusiasmWe believe that God is moving in this day and that it is important for the Community of Christ to recognize and promote that movement in their world. Just as the early church stood in awe of what God was doing, it is vital that we develop excitement about what the same God is doing in our world today. The Journey will focus on and promote the movement of God in this world.Agenda HarmonyWe believe that every person is different; and while we celebrate the diversity of every believer, the Community of Christ must share a Commonality of Purpose. We believe that the purpose of the early church as well as the church today was and is to lift up Jesus Christ by loving one another and by serving the world around us.OutreachWe believe that as the early church took the message of Christ to the places where unbelievers gathered, so too the church of today is responsible for taking the message of Christ into the world. We must move the church out from the four walls of its’ building and expose it for the world to see. Therefore, The Journey will not just involve itself with outreach programs, the Journey will itself be an outreaching ministry.Authentic RelationshipsWe believe that as the early church met together in their homes to enjoy Godly fellowship, so the church of today is also to develop and promote opportunities for Godly fellowship. The Journey will enhance Christian relationship through activities and programming that will give members, as well as new attendees, the opportunity to enjoy the greatest form of entertainment given us by God: each other.GrowthWe believe that as the early church became a strong Community of Faith in it’s day, and as the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved, so too the church of today must become a strong Community of Faith so that the Lord will add to its number daily those who are being saved. It is therefore the passion of The Journey to be united with Christ and become a community that the Lord will add to regularly.
OUR MISSIONWe are growing community of Christ followers who journey together through life, passionately seeking to know Him intimately, and to make Him known throughout the world.WHAT WE BELIEVEWe believe in one God who has expressed himself in personal ways. We know God’s personality as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.We believe the Bible communicates God’s saving message and is our reliable authority in all matters related to faith and Christian living. We believe that all humankind struggles with a downward pull. We believe that unless we experience God’s help and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, our future is one of eternal separation from God and all that is good.We believe the love and grace of God is extended to every person in the provision Jesus Christ made in his death and resurrection. By turning from our own selfishness and trusting Jesus Christ, we experience a new life, being freed from the old patterns of self–destructive acts called sin. We believe our new life in Jesus Christ is the gateway to transformation. Following our moment of faith in Jesus, we believe there is another moment in which we present our life completely to Christ in order to live under his authority and to experience his transforming power. We believe that Christian experience is more than a change of mind. It is accompanied by assurance that is grounded in both the Scriptures as well as the inner witness of God’s Spirit.We believe that all who live for Jesus Christ have an eternal future. Our belief in such a future includes both the fulfillment of God’s creative purpose as well as the accountability of all persons endowed with the power of choice.

The Journey in the Park Fridays at 11:30AM | _ Morrell ParkThere is a large population of homeless and severely impoverished people in our community. Journey in the Park provides the homeless with a meal and message every Friday. Please help us by volunteering to serve, bring food, and/or give financial support.Nazarene Missions International MissionsThe Church of the Nazarene has been committed to obeying the Great Commission since its inception. "Historically, Nazarene global ministry has centered around evangelism, compassionate ministry, and education." In 2010 the denomination had 418 missionaries serving in 156 world areas, including nine creative access areas, and an additional 284 Mission Corps volunteers serving in 49 world areas, for a total of 702 missionaries. In 2010, 92 Youth in Mission participants served in 14 world areas, including 52 participants from outside the USA/Canada Regions. In 2010, 286 books were produced in 59 languages for pastoral training and holiness, and World Mission Broadcast aired 140 radio broadcasts in 72 countries and 36 languages.

Wed. 6:30am | _ Denny‘s (Warm Springs & Marks) This is a group intentionally designed to provide opportunity for men to fellowship, pray for each other & grow in God‘s word together.

Wed. 6:30pm | _ Bill & Danielle Shannon [1011 Rose River Ct. Henderson, NV 89002]. This is a group designed for Jr. High & High School students to learn more about God & His plan for their life.

Nooma Nights

Wed. 6:30pm | _The Campbell’s Home (601 Du Fort Ave. Henderson 89002 ) An evening of modern parables & discussions with a quest for spiritual truth. For all adults.
